Article of the Day 2/8/17

I disliked this video of Simon Sinek. I understand where he is coming from and I understand that a lot of my generation has a sense of entitlement but that is not all of the Millennials. Myself and other have worked incredibly hard to get where we are. I do agree that it is not necessarily our fault. My generation is this way because of how we are raised. But each generation is changed by their parents generation. The way he started the video sounded as though Sinek was blaming all of our entitlement feelings on ourselves. Then he blames parents for the entitlement. Then he changes it to social media and technology being the problem. I do agree with him on some of the topics, especially with the stress part. When I get social anxiety then I look down at my phone. Phones should be put away for sometime, not used as often as they are.
